about my report

Micro Vickers hardness tester is a piece of equipment that is indispensable to metallographic research, product quality control, and the development of product certification materials. For this type of work, it is important to be able to measure the hardness of small parts and metallic structures used in precision equipment, processed surface layers, metal plating layers, etc. This type of measurement must be performed on a limited small area with small damage to the area being measured, and must yield extremely reliable results. Our range of low load and micro hardness testers ( Vickers or Knoop) have been designed to meet these demanding conditions, providing outstanding performance with ease of use and user friendly design.

  • Load range: HV 0,05-HV 30 according to ASTM-DIN-EN-ISO standards
  • Test load applied via closed-loop control circuit with load cell
  • Integrated CCD camera displays the indentation on PC monitor
  • Automatic lens focussing
  • Diagonals measured by measuring lines on the monitor or by fully automatic image evaluation (optional)
  • Motorized swivel body with slide for 2 lenses and 1 indenter
  • Fully automatic test cycle, no operator needed. Series measurements when properly equipped
  • Equipped with network interface and modem for on-line user help and remote maintenance (optional)
  • Universal hardness (HU) and Rockwell methods as options.
  • The hardness value is directly shown in digital form.
